Bob Davidson reported that 205 dozen roses and 105 bottles of wine were sold during the Annual Rose and Wine Sale.  Our expenses were $9006, and net profits are in the neighborhood of $5600.  Special thanks to Jim Corliss for selling the most roses, and to Mike McCleskey for selling us wine at cost.

A special shout out to Jenna and Sharron for helping Marie with the THS Auction!  Many items, including several live trees, are still available to sell online.    Visit tigardhsauction.com.

Several Rotarians and Intercambio students showed up to clean-up Walnut Street on Saturday for our first Adopt-a-Road project.  Another clean-up will be scheduled for early summer. Thanks to Cheron Calder for organizing the event.

Our club received a $1000 Youth Leadership Award from Washington County in recognition of our commitment to supporting youth in the county.

We will partner with Tigard Little League to present a Silent Auction during Ten Grands on the Diamond.  Donation items of all values are welcome.  Gift cards, sports event tickets and memorabilia, wine, food, spa packages, experiences, and vacation getaway homes are particularly popular. No “white elephants,” please!

Thanks to everyone who donated to CFP, Creating Friendships Program.  Our club donated more money than any other group or individual IN THE WORLD!

The Achievement Banquet will be held at Wilsonville Holiday Inn on Sunday May 5 at 6:00 PM.  Please show up early to help greet guests and seat yourselves among various tables (AKA no clumping at the same table) so we can spread the word about what Tigard Rotary does in the community.

KOMAC Foundation is having a fundraiser dinner in Wilsonville on Saturday May 6.  Contact Barrett Strasburg for more info.

May 11 is the deadline for all Tigard Rotary program chairs to submit their 2019-2020 budget requests to Jacob.  Requests will be considered at the May 14 meeting of the Club Board of Directors, and at a future meeting of the Foundation.  Don’t be left out!  Submit your budget on time.

Our Exchange Students, Sharron, Marco, Jenna, and Alice have been busy with rugby, Mariner’s Baseball, learning French, and hunting for Easter Eggs.
