Michael Allen Harrison’s Ten Grands concerts were first created in Portland, Oregon in 2001; the outdoor concept held its inaugural event on July 25, 2015.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]

The Event:

Ten Grands on the Green is a new event for both the Ten Grands organization and the Rotary Club of Tigard. July 25, 2015 was the inaugural event held at the Reserve Vineyards and Golf Club. One stage, one night, some of the most accomplished pianists in the world performing music we all love- from Classical, Jazz, New Age to Pop Contemporary- arranged by brilliant composer and musician Michael Allen Harrison.

Rotary’s Part:

The club’s foundation, The Rotary Club of Tigard Foundation, is the official partner with Michael Allen Harrison’s Snowman Foundation to underwrite and benefit from the event. Members of our club work on the organizing committee, supply resources to keep costs of the event down, and volunteer throughout the event.

Fundraising

The event raises money through sponsorship, ticket sales, concession fees, and general donations. Net proceeds are split 50/50 with the Snowman Foundation and the Rotary Club of Tigard Foundation to support the many worthwhile projects of both organizations.

How You Can Help

Rotary members are encouraged to assist on the organizing committee, attract sponsors and advertisers, sell tickets to the event, and volunteer throughout the event.

Check back here nearer the event for signup lists for volunteer opportunities.
