Jacob reminded everyone to update their profiles on tigardrotary.org.  He will donate $5 to the Foundation for each member who does so by Halloween.

Jay reported that Operation Warm is on schedule to provide 450 coats to needy folks in Tigard.  Please get your checks in ASAP.

Stuart, who was Tigard Rotary president in 1994-95, recalled the fun he had while attending the International Convention in Taipei.  His first stop was a homestay in Bangkok with fellow Rotarians.  They took him on a culinary tour of the city and would not allow him to pay for anything.  At the time, Stuart was the youngest Rotary president.

Rob presented Zachary Dean, Tigard HS senior, with a certificate of recognition.  Zach is the president of Tigard Youth Advisory Council and CEO of You Pick Pocket clothing, an online t-shirt company he started with a $500 personal investment.  The company has made about $15,000 so far!  Upon graduation next year, Zach plans to pursue a degree in Higher Education at OSU or Northwestern University..
