The annual Rose Sale is on!  Last few years it has generated $5000 – $6000 for our club.  This year’s goal is to sell 500 dozen.   At $23.50 per dozen, these beauties with HUGE blossoms on long, thick stems are a bargain.  Let’s get out there and sell to friends, family, and colleagues.  (Mr. Corliss has already signed up for 100 dozen!)  April 14 is the cut off date for orders and delivery will be on April 28–10 days before Mother’s Day.  A sign up sheet was circulated at the meeting and you can also contact Bob Davidson with your order.

May 1 is the annual THS Achievement Banquet.  Sponsors are still needed.  Contact Jim Strickler if you can help.

There is one spot open for the Indio Spirits Distillery tasting on April 7.

Past President Jack Schwab gave an overview of his year (2003-04) in office.  It was his 19th year as a Rotarian and he was in law school.  He did not attend the international conference in Brisbane and the club was able to use the money to build a playground at the Good Neighbor Center.  That year we celebrated the 40th annual THS Achievement Banquet and made $9000 on the Rose Sale.  It was the first year that our club volunteered at the Tigard Balloon Festival.  It was also the first year that we went on a winery tour.
