  1. The Rotary Foundation. Rob Musante reminded members to contribute at least $10 to The Rotary Foundation. Doing so will not only enter you in the raffle for 500 points towards your Paul Harris Fellow, but will make the Club a 100% participating club. Make checks out to Rotary International.
  2. Service Above Self Recognition. Speaking of Rob Musante, President Cheron Calder presented him with a Service Above Self award for being a Past-President, contributing generously to The Rotary Foundation, managing the Balloon Festival fund-raiser, and much more.

  9. Exchange Student News. Alberto Basilico reported that he could not ask for a better host family, and that he is really loving school, more and more each day, and that his water polo team will go to the state playoffs. Ed Murphy announced that the Club will sponsor one long-term student, one “Alternate” long-term student, and five short-term students this year, giving seven THS students an opportunity to travel abroad through the Rotary Youth Exchange Program.
  10. Sargent-at-Arms. Since Dan Murphy was the guest Sargent, he first fined anyone who has never been to a Broadway Rose show, and then fined anyone who has never delivered for Meals on Wheels. But that was just a warm-up. He then quizzed each table with some pretty arcane Broadway musicals trivia that most members had no clue about – except for Susan Yesilada and Margaret Barnes!
