Birol announced that the Peace Poles have arrived and volunteers are needed to help place the first 3 at Good Neighbor Center, Tigard Grange, and Downtown Tigard.  A Peace Committee meeting will be held at Yesilada’s home on Tuesday May 23.  All are welcome.

This was the last day for rose sales.  If you would like to make a donation in lieu of sales, please contact Bob Davidson.

Gina announced that the social event at Big Al’s was a big success!  Jim Sanders, Mike Stone, and Ken VanDomelen won first, second, and third place, respectively.

The THS Achievement Banquet will be held on May 7 beginning at 6 PM.  Please let Dan Murphy know if you plan to attend.  Table sponsors are still being sought.

Andrea is taking over as weekly meeting program coordinator and welcomes ideas from club members.  Many thanks to Barbara Fassnacht who was the program coordinator for 7 years!

Ten Grands on the Green is only 93 days away!  Our goal this year is to garner $50,000 in sponsorships.  Please let Andrea know if you have ideas on possible sponsors for this year’s event.

Ryan Flatley and Zoe Monahan were inducted into the club.  Ryan has a Bachelor’s Degree in journalism from Cal State and is a graduate of U of O Law School.  He is currently working for a Portland-based law firm and specializes in estate planning and real estate law.  Zoe is a past Youth Exchange Student to France and RYLA participant.  She has a Bachelor’s Degree in public policy and a Master’s Degree in public administration.  She works for the City of Tualatin.

Bill Monahan was recognized as a Paul Harris Fellow +4!

Judy Miller announced that her grandson is on a robotics team that took 2nd place at the national robotics competition in Houston.  Way to go!
