Dear Fellow Rotarians,
You are invited to learn about a new college opening here in Portland this August, The Wayfinding Academy, whose purpose is to teach self-exploration, adventure and community. Through internships and hands-on experiences, students will seek answers to the question, “What should I do with my life?” not just, “What job can I get after college?”

The executive director, Michelle Jones, will be speaking to a small group of us on April 3rd, 2016 to discuss some of the challenges today’s higher education system has with regards to preparing our youth for life, and how The Wayfinding Academy is addressing these issues.
Host family and parents of a 2015 outbound student, The Waldmans, will be hosting and providing gourmet multicultural gnashes and drinks before the presentation.
