It is a simple mission: A new pair of shoes and a $50 gift card to Old Navy for the first day of the school year. The students are taken shopping to pick out the outfit they want to wear on the first of school. To help give them confidence.

Started July 1st 2015 were able to help 491 students in Tigard partnered with the Good Neighbor center, shelters in Hillsboro

The case workers when with students to Old Navy, some had never been shopping before. Many wanted to buy one thing and save the rest to share with their families.

Kids staying in school will stop the cycle of poverty
