[vc_row full_width=”” parallax=”” parallax_image=””][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]Sanford introduced guests including Roland who will be inducted into the club next week and Anela from Ben Bridge Jewelers.

Mike reminded everyone that it is dictionary delivery time.  If you would like to help please email him to be put on the distribution list.  First chance to help will be at Alberta Rider school at 1:45 PM on Nov.  6.

Coat distribution for Operation Warm will take place in two locations on Nov 4.  A sheet was passed around for those who have not signed up but wish to do so.  Jay also reminded everyone about the annual, free Thanksgiving meal for Seniors that will be served on Thanksgiving day from 11 – 2.  Sign up to help serve, clean up, etc.  It’s always a fun time.

Jan Richardson showed off the ceramic dog she painted at the club social event last week at The Painted Plate in Sherwood.  Thanks to Cheron and Gina for organizing the event and Conrad for donating the wine.

Bob Davidson announced that it’s nearly bell ringing time again.  The first sign up sheet was circulated for slots on Dec 12.  Please contact him if you would like to help.

Jacob made one last plea for everyone to update his/her profile on tigardrotary.org.  He has his pen ready to write a check to the Foundation for $5 for every club member who does so.

Conrad asked everyone who participated in the pottery painting event to show the results of their handiwork and tell a story about it.  Jan, Julie, Cheron, Meredith, and Gina got to go to the front of the class.  Cheron plans to auction the dragonfly platter she made and donate the money to the club.  Jan’s story was judged the best by our speaker, Steve Arnt.

All present gave a standing ovation to Bill and his wife, both of whom turned 90 years old this month.  Wow!  Conrad asked one person from every table to talk to the group about what they would most like to be doing when they turn 90.  Bill was to judge the best idea, but after hearing so many good ones he said that he could not choose.  Everyone got their two bucks back (except those with names beginning with “J.”)[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
