A club social will be held on Tuesday April 25 at Big Al’s Bowling center in Progress Ridge.  Tickets are $38 per person for 3 hours of bowling, pizza, and soft drinks.  Contact Gina if you plan to attend.

The winery tour will take place on May 7 from 11:30 – 5 PM.  Cost is $50 per person.  Contact Stuart if you are interested in attending or if you need to cancel.

The annual Tigard High School Achievement banquet will be held on May 7 at 6 PM at the Wilsonville Holiday Inn.  Table sponsorships are $100 each.  Please make donations payable to the local foundation.

The Tigard Festival of Cars, sponsored by Landmark Ford, will be held on June 25.  Tickets are $15.

The annual golf tournament and installation banquet will be held on June 29.

We received a thank you note from the Tigard Library for our club’s donation.  Our donation funds the weekly book purchase made in honor of the weekly speaker.

A Rotary membership workshop will be held at the Clackamas Banquet Center this Saturday beginning at 8:30 PM.  All are welcome to attend.

The District training conference will be held on April 22 at Reynolds High School.  Please register on the District web site.  You may submit your registration receipt to the club for reimbursement.  Everyone is encouraged to attend.

The Rotary International Convention begins on June 14 in Atlanta.  This is your chance to attend an international conference without buying an international plane ticket!  Rob and Mary Alice Musante will attend.

Our club is sponsoring the purchase of six Peace Poles that will be placed at various locations around the city, including Tigard Plaza, The Grange, Good Neighbor Center, and Chamber of Commerce.  The poles are 8-sided; the message on each side is in a different language, including English, French, Spanish, Sign-Language, and Indonesian.  There will be a ceremony in Downtown Tigard on April 15.

Rotary Peace Clubs and the Jubitz Family Foundation will sponsor 100 Peace Poles in all.
