Julie announced that the wine social will be held at McCleskey Cellars on May 7 at 4 PM.  Dinner will be potluck.  Cost will be $10 per person for wine.  A sign up sheet will be circulated in April.

Gina announced that a new sign up sheet will be circulated for the Indio Spirits Distillery tasting on April 7.

A Fireside will be held at Rob’s house on March 10.  The topic will be Foundations–International and Local.  A sign up sheet was circulated as a count is needed for the caterer.

Sponsors are still needed for the THS Achievement Banquet.  Contact Jim Strickler for more info.  Table sponsorship is $100 and includes one meal ticket.

Jack reminded us that the Senior Center’s annual fund raiser, Storytelling for Grownups, will be held on March 11 at the Broadway Rose.  Tickets are available from Jack and online.

Additional drivers are still needed for the Tigard Rotary Meals on Wheels route.  Contact Jay if you can help.

Thanks to Jeff Tainer, the holiday party will be held on Dec 8 at Tualatin Country Club.

District training will be held on April 23 from 9 – 2.  The club will pay for members who want to attend.

Bill attended PETS last weekend.

Charly announced that she will participate in a dance competition this Saturday.

Sergeant Conrad called for stories of “speed” to go along with the topic of the day.  Marland’s story of a young, bicycle speeder won the day.  Stuart had the privilege of paying $10 for not having prepared a “thought of the day.”  Carol got to spin the wheel to pay for a cell phone infraction.  Jim Corliss presented Conrad with a “Badge of Horror.”

Marland made a donation in honor of the birth of his 14th grandchild.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
