Jay reported that Operation Warm is underway and urged club members to get involved.  Over 400 coats were distributed last year.

Sanford sent around a sign-up sheet for a mini golf gathering slated for September 10 at 6:00 PM.

Jack announced that the Good Neighbor Center will hold a Back to School event on Wednesday at 5 PM at the Christ the King Lutheran Church.  Backpacks and shoes will be distributed.  All are welcome to attend.

Sergeant-at-arms, Conrad never runs out of fun and inventive ways to raise money for the club and this week was no exception.  Conrad offered himself up as a human pin cushion with Whitney wielding acupuncture needles at $10 a pop.  All proceeds went to the club.

President Rob reported that since we instituted a new way of paying for venue rental at Nicoli’s the club’s bottom line was improving.  He further explained that all donations to the club, such as those raised by the sergeant at arms, are voluntary and that they pay for such items as administrative expenses and members’ participation at conferences.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
