Outbound exchange student Annie will not be going to Turkey after all.  The Dept of State recently released travel warnings and restrictions for Izmir, and other locations in Turkey, to visitors and employees.  After much deliberation and not a little anxiety, Annie and her parents decided it would not be wise for her to go there during this time of upheaval.  The District Youth Committee is looking for an alternate exchange location for Annie.

Ed Murphy had the honor of inducting new member, Andrea Johnson.  Andrea is a native of Newberg who obtained her BA in Nursing in Oregon and her MA in nursing in Minnesota.  She is a registered nurse anesthetist, CNA.  Andrea said she looked at several clubs before deciding to join ours.  Her reasons?  Our club does the most projects, is the most welcoming, and has the most fun!

Dan Murphy made the mistake of forgetting to turn off his cell phone and got to spin the wheel for Sergeant Conrad.  Kara got to spin for her mother, Cheron.  The club’s coffers benefited.
